Andis fight-Rare Stage 4 Cancer

Andrea is a daughter, a mom, a friend, and the best sister I could ever ask for. Oh yeah…I forgot to mention she is a fighter. She is in a very big fight right now, and I am pleading for your help.
In short….actually there is no short to this. Andrea has stage IV Appendix Cancer. It is very rare. Doctors say about 10 or so years ago, the tumor in her appendix burst through the organs wall and was splattered, for lack of a better word, all over her insides. Her surgery is on November 8th. It is called the mother of all surgeries...google it. It's real. It is a 12 hr procedure where the Dr. will open her up and go through every single one of her organs and “insides”, scraping off cancerous cells and removing tumors. Then he will pour 105 degree chemo inside, shake her around to coat everything very well, and let it sit for 2 hrs. The Dr described this part as the “Shake & Bake”. Technically it's all called - Cytoreductive surgery and HIPEC. Estimated recovery time is 3-6 months.
We really do not know what to expect. What we do know right now is that the “shake & Bake” portion of the procedure is being denied by her insurance. We also know she has a mortgage, will have to buy food, and she has 2 daughters in college that she supports. And we know she will not be working.
The reason for the GoFundMe is twofold. To reach a million and 10 people that will keep her in their prayers. And to raise funds to help alleviate her expenses. She needs to focus on her recovery and “next steps” and not worry about her bills.
I really do not know at what amount to start this project. $10,000 to cover her major expenses for 6 months or add in the cost of the HIPEC (which stops the cancer from coming back) can be upwards of $100,000. I will start with $10,000, and if we can keep this campaign going maybe we can raise enough to cover it all. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
