Anderson's failed Total Knee Replacement surgery

Donation protected
Dear all-- I have reached the end of all I can do and with deep regret, have to ask to ask for help. I have a 100% failed total knee replacement revision ( Total Knee Arthroplasty Revision) that is over 20 years old. Over the past 2 weeks, 1.5 to 2 inches of my femur/thigh bone has been crushed and collapsed against the upper titanium joint replacement, bending titanium screws.I got scheduled for emergency surgery with Slocum Orthopedics/Riverbend hospital here in Eugene yesterday. The surgery is scheduled for 6 June and I'm on an emergency cancellation list with one hour's notice and am at top of list due to urgency.
They are doing one of two possible options. The first is to remove all the steel/plastic joint replacement parts; cut off several inches my femur (thigh) and tibia (calf) bones; install a 24 inch long titanium rod to replace bone function. The second is amputation and a prosthetic leg. I won't know until I come to from surgery.
I received full Oregon Health Plan coverage for the surgery yesterday after 2 weeks of fairly extreme bureaucracy. The surgery/surgeries will be extremely expensive but are covered. While I have many friends who love me here, they are my age or older and have neither the physical means, financial means,or physical setting that is disabled accessible. OHP will not admit me to a hospital until the surgery, though I have to go to the emergency room every other day for pain IV's and pain medication at this point. I am having to live in a ground floor, handicapped motel room in Eugene which cost $65 per night or  $455 per week. I need to stay here for 3 more weeks and money is now very low.
Post surgery, I will be in a surgical rehab clinic for approximately 3 months, possibly longer. It sounds like the OHP/Medicaid insurance will pay 90% of this cost, which is also extremely expensive. I will need to raise somewhere between $3,000 and $5,000 for this. At present, my Social Security Disability is being reduced from $932 per month to $771 per month, and I can make an additional $280 per month selling my plasma twice a week. That is the total of my resources. I hate having to be reduced to this and having to ask and I am sorry. If you can help, thank you. I realize money is tight for most people, and if you cannot, please, please  know I completely understand. Please know that. I will try to pay everyone back if at all possible, though it may have to be an oil painting.
Thank you. Thank you so very much. I love you all.
