An opportunity to hug my Father one more time

I am raising funds for a close friend, Daniela Kinsella. Her Father while on holiday with Daniela in November/October 2017 (in Portugal) became ill and at that time Daniela put up a Go Fund Me Page to fly her parents back within a few days as the medical teams had advised that if her Father did not return soon, he may fall too unwell to return at all.
People generously gave and the funds were raised and her Father and Mother made it back home just in time. Her Father went straight to Hospital and began treatment with a diagnosis of stage 4 Lung Cancer.
The picture above is Daniela's Father last week, he has seen his 11th dose of chemotherapy treatment and now is perhaps the best opportunity for Daniela to give her Father a hug one more time.
Daniela has eight children and it is hoped enough funds would be raised to send over the two youngest because they had a particular bond with their grandparents and may bring a lot of joy to Daniela's Father and Mother at this time.
There is an urgency to get home to Brazil for this opportunity to hug her Father, and so through a good long-haul Travel Consultant, the earliest flights have been found for 2nd Feb 2019 till the 11th Feb 2019 for a value of €2167 for Daniela and the two youngest children. However they have to get from Waterford to Dublin Airport a 2.5hr trip and then from the Brazillian Airport to her Father's Home, a further 2.5hr Journey, In addition some fund will be needed to have food during the trip and there may be a real need for contingency to change tickets at the last minute, with all of this in mind, I am asking for 3,500, to cover all eventualities over the 11 day trip and should there be any money left over at the end, it will be donated to Daniela's Father for comfort in his illness.
There is a second flight on 4th to 13th February 2019 which could be preferred but it will depend on Father's condition, that flight will be cheaper by about 500 euro, however if it is chosen at the last minute, any remaining funds will be given to Father to offer some comfort in his illness.
Ticket Money is needed by noon Tuesday 15th January 2019 in order to secure tickets for the earlier flight on 1st Feb, every euro will be a blessing that will be very much appreciated.
