Funeral expenses 4 Makayla Parrott

Donation protected
Dear family, friends and all who loved, cared for and were blessed to experience being apart of Makayla’s short life, it is with a heavy heart that I come to you asking for your financial support.  My cousin Makayla unexpectedly died at the young age of 21 years old on August 6, 2018 as a result of an accidential drug  overdose. Makayla was taken by ambulance to Wheaton Hospital where they were able to revive her. She was then airlifted to Fargo, ND but didn’t survive the trip.

A little bit about Makayla’s life:
Makayla Hope Parrott was born to Mike and Beth Hoffbeck Parrott on April 18, 1997 in Burnsville, MN. She was one of 5 daughters being the third. When Makayla was in first grade her family moved to Fergus Falls, MN. Makayla graduated from Underwood HS in 2015.

Makayla battled the vicious addiction of drugs for several years. Last year she successfully completed treatment. Makayla was doing a fantastic job at staying sober and working so hard at making big changes in her life with so much love to give. She had plans on going to school to become a vet tech. Makayla’s desire was to make the world a better place.

Truth be told, drugs are a silent killer that are taking the lives of thousands of innocent people everyday. Makayla herself just turned 21 years old in April and legally just had her first drink this year. Her life was ahead of her not behind her. The truth must be told and not hidden any longer. Drugs kill innocent people and it only takes once.

Makayla Hope Parrot leaves behind her parents Mike and Beth along with her loving sisters: Amanda, Naomi, Felicia and Hannah. We can’t forget her neice and nephews that she adored: Lilly, Rolan and Winston.

No parent ever plans on getting the phone call that Mike and Beth recieved. Parents don’t plan ahead  to bury their young children. Mike and Beth have zero dollars set aside for a tragedy such as this, as most parents wouldn’t. Please prayerfully consider making a financial donation to help ease the financial burden that has now been placed on her family.  Mike and Beth’s wishes are to respectfully give their daughter the memorial service and burial and to lay Makayla’s body peacefully in the arms of her loving Savior as she so desperately deserves.

Please share this post daily to both raise funds and awareness. Every penny counts. Feel free to post a message below to the family as we all know they will need us. Thank you for your prayers, love and support.

“He makes beauty out of ashes.” Isaiah 61:3

Fly high Makayla Hope, fly high.
