Amy's Fight Against Breast Cancer

Hello all! First, thank you for taking the time to read our posts or check out our support page for Amy, we appreicate all the overwhelming love and support we have recieved from everyone thus far.
We are the brothers of Amy. Our names are Troy, Mark and Brian. On July 17th, 2015, we found out that our sister Amy was diagnosed with Stage-two Breast Cancer. Our family was completely taken back from the devastating news. It was hard to accept that our loving sister who is a young mother of three boys all under the age of 6, has to face this hellish fight known as cancer.
We do not want to focus much more attention to cancer then we have to as we want the focus to be on Amy and the support we can give her. But we feel you should know what she will be going through. The short verison of her medical treatement plan is for her to go through chemo for the next 6 months. After that she will have a full double mastectomy which will be followed with radition treatment for few months.
Back to Amy. For those who do not know Amy, she is very strong. She is by far the strongest, smartest, most postive, most understanding, fun-loving, compassionate, overly consiterate and helpful person in the world. She is the type of person who would lend a hand for just about anyone, for anything, if it was within her ability and ask for absolutely nothing in return. She is a fantastic role model to her kids, her family, her friends and really anyone who knows her.
Now is the time where she needs all of us and we need to be like her. The emotional and finanical burden her family will expereince will be overwhleming. Amy has a very supportive family and group of friends who are all ready and willing dedicate themselves to her, to help be there for her whenever she needs help to ease the emotional burden. Now comes the finanical burden. That is where we come in. Together we can help ease the finanical burden with your donations. All donations will go directly to Amy and her family.
These are example of the expenses the donations will help to offset:
-Medical expenses (medications, chemo, surgery, co-pays, radition, etc)
-Time away from work
-Child care (day care, school, food for 3 growing boys, etc)
-New apparel (shirts, wigs, hats, etc)
- In general anything else the family may need not listed
Any additonal money collected and given to Amy that is no longer needed for covering medical expenses and other support stated above will be donated to another cause of Amys choice that is supporting other men and women battling cancer.
