Amy's Medical Expenses Fund

As many of you know, every year I fly down to sunny Florida to spend time with my dear friend Amy (Van Scoyk) D'Angelo, her wonderful family and her beautiful kids, August, Ryder and Gemma.  I am welcomed like family year after year.  
     Well now is my chance to give back to Amy for her decades of friendship and unending hospitality.  Amy will be undergoing major surgery later this month to finally tackle a medical nightmare that has kept her in pain for years, literally.  The surgery (a full hysterectomy) requires up to six weeks of recovery and during that time, Amy will be forced to take time off from work to concentrate on healing ... while taking care of her children and still giving them a special Christmas that every kid deserves.  
     The required recovery time will exhaust her Christmas vacation (she's a teacher as well) and will go well past it.  Although she is allowed to take the time off, she will recieve no pay during this already stressful time.  I want to make sure that the last thing Amy has to worry about is finances so she can focus on getting well and nothing else.  There is an immediate and urgent need to raise funds for rent, utilities, food and medication(s).  She can not do it alone.
     So many of us have all that we need including good health.  Please consider supporting this wonderful woman, my dear friend, and amazing mom while she's on the road to recovery.  Amy selflessly gives of herself, always putting others needs ahead of her own, even putting off this surgery for years not wanting it to impact her children's lives.  But it's time to do this and let's help her get through it.
