Amputation Surgery for Sophie'

I have told my friends, and court reporter FB friends, about Sophie's cancer on her arm. I mentioned I could not afford the surgery last August, and when I went today to see if she was still a candidate for surgery, she isn't. Our only option in saving her life is having the arm amputated.   I go back in six weeks. The doctor wants her to lose 4 pounds so she will be able to adjust to walking on three legs and not topple over. 
I do NOT like asking  for help, as I know nobody does, but I rescued this sweet baby from a Georgia shelter 8 years ago where she was dumped in a box giving birth to five puppies that came out that were bigger than she was. She has epilepsy,  but it's been medically controlled. This is the only choice I have in prolonging her life. ANY help will be greatly appreciated, even ONE DOLLAR (I'm serious). I do not expect to make the goal, but am putting up a partial price of the surgery, meds, X-rays, etc.  Thank you all for anything you can spare.
