Who are we?
We are two UK-trained doctors who have decided to take a year (or two) out and spend them travelling and volunteering abroad.
We were initially going to volunteer with two charities - unfortunately the second charity has had to pull back and cancel the volunteer activities that we had planned.
We are therefore going to volunteer with only one organisation:
Koh Rong Emergency Services , in Cambodia from January to March 2018.
We want to be very clear that all of the money we raise will go directly to this charity - we will cover all our own personal travel and other activities on the way.

Koh Rong is a small island off the south coast of Cambodia. With a small population and poor infrastructure, up until a few years ago this island had no medical system in place. A clinic has now been set up, providing free healthcare to both local populations, ex-pats and tourists. It runs entirely on donations and depends on medical volunteers.
We will be spending 3 months providing 24-hour medical cover for the island's population, holding daily walk in clinics and hope to provide educational training schemes about health and well-being.
The money you donate will be used to provide new and essential equipment and to hold the educational seminars teaching about illness prevention and basic life support.

We understand that there are lots of charities and its impossible to donate to all worthwhile causes. However we appreciate any donation - no matter the size!
P.S. We realise that it is less than ideal that one of the charities that we have raised money for has pulled out.
