Amne Richardson – Fund the Fight
A daughter, a wife, a sister, a friend, a mother… and now, a fighter.
What began as a series of unrelated medical concerns – some high blood pressure, lower back pain and the inability to “drop the baby weight” rapidly became so much more. After pursuing relief for the back pain that only worsened, a routine scan revealed a fractured L4 vertebra, which prompted a series of more detailed medical imaging.
The imaging results revealed multiple lesions on her liver, lungs, lower back and hip along with a larger tumor on her adrenal gland. Cancer.
Within a 24-hour time span, Amne went from treating some lower back pain to fighting an aggressive cancer that has metastasized to multiple areas in her body. Radiation has begun and as more details are revealed a clearer plan will be established.
Amne is a blessing to all she meets. And now YOU can take part in returning her love by helping her FUND THE FIGHT.
As the treatment plan unfolds, some sacrifices have already had to be made. Amne has had to leave the dental hygienist job she loved. Sweet, baby Liza now has to attend daycare full time, while the other children need after school care and more babysitting expenses as schedules change. And through treatment and recovery, the Richardson’s need more resources to help around the home.
Amne, along with her husband Andrew and three children- Prewitt (5), Graham (4) and little Liza (1) have a very long road ahead of them. Your gift, no matter the size, will help relieve the Richardson’s of the monetary stress that such a shift in life causes.
