Ammiel's College Tuition

My name is Ammiel Asfaw. I am currently hoping to begin my second year of College, I attended Trevecca Nazerene University this past year. I've recently been accepted to York University in Toronto Canada.
My parents and I lived in Nashville, Tennesse for ten years, seven of which, we were undocumented immigrants. Our visas ran out in 2010. In regards to education, this meant that I was not eligible to obtain scholarships, bursaries nor school funding, because most if not all financial aid recquire you to be a citizen. In Nashville I worked an average of 40-42 hours a week my first year of college to pay for tuition costs. I was able to maintain a 3.7 grade point average. I believe that if you want to accomplish your goals you should work to the best of your abilities to do so, and that is exactly what I did. But now, I am in need of financial assitance to pay for my tuition.
On April 18, 2017 my family and I left our home in Tennesse to seek refugee status in Canada. With the new presidential administration in the USA and the views that the President holds on undocumented people my dad seeked the council of a few lawyers about our situation. They all gave him the same advice, they said that we should leave before we were put in risk of deportation, to my home country Ethiopia. We listened to their advice.
The reason why I need help paying for my tuition is because right now, I am not able to work or recieve any government funding here in Toronto. My family and I have to attend a court date to explain our refugee case and until then none of us are able to work. The court date was originally set for July 14 but has been "postponed to an unkown date". With the fall term at York University beginning on September 7th, I am running out of time.
If you can help me in any way I would be very appreciative. I want to go back to school more than anything. Hopefully you will be a huge help in my journey of becoming an Immigration Lawyer. Any donation helps. Thank you so much and God Bless You.
