“Bravery is the ability to look fear and hurt in the face and say move aside, you are in the way.” Melissa Tumino
Amira Kiass was the bravest person I knew. Not because she embodied the traditional sense of the word as fearless...but because she moved forward with life in the face of all that she'd been dealt. Her heart was enormous and she was her best self when she was living in service of others. She was an incredibly loyal friend, a loving daughter, a fierce sister, a selfless caregiver, and a wise-beyond-her-years mentor. She is missed.
Funds are needed for memorial/funeral services. Tracy Kiass (Amira's mom) will receive and make decisions about how the money will be best put to use. Funds are needed before the end of the year.
