Amelie Akerley: Memorial & Scholarship Fund
As many of you know, Mike, Celine, Maxime, Channie, Chelsey and Samilya have tragically lost their beloved 14 year old daughter/sister, and their entire family is devastated.
This is a fund to honour the life, talents and humour that belonged exclusively to Amelie Akerley (2003-2017). Amelie was a devoted daughter, sister and friend. She brought laughter, passion and joy to everyone she came in contact with and constantly flashed that beautiful smile. For this reason, 50% of the funds raised through this fund will be put in a scholarship fund for students attending Ecole Grande-Riviere in St-Leonard, N.B where Amelie attended school. She will be able to continue to spread her wings over her little community and share her memory with everyone who loved her.
By contributing to Amelie's Fund you will also assist in alleviating some of the financial pressures, making it easier for her family to focus on navigating the complicated and painful times to come.
You can support the family by showing them how our small community can come together and stand with them during the most painful time in their lives.
