Ambulance Repair
Donation protected
Recently, one of our two ambulances was involved in a motor vehicle crash leaving the unit badly damaged and out of service for an extended period of time. Due to insurance not covering the full amount of a new vehicle chassis, we will have to pay for the new chassis to be mounted to our existing ambulance module. The total cost to complete the necessary repairs is approximate $77,000.00 leaving an unexpected and serious financial burden on our organization. We have been left with a shortfall of about $30,000.00 that will leave our all volunteer first aid squad with difficult choices in the future regarding budgeting for responding to emergency calls.
While we have answered the call for help to our community for the past 65 years we now must turn to you for help. Please consider making a donation to our organization to assist with operating costs and help us to continue to respond to emergencies. Any donation is greatly appreciated and will be put to good use to complete our mission of helping others in time of need.
