Photography for 3 Seams

Welcome!  Thank you so much for taking the time to read about this amazing adventure! I've been given the incredible oportunity to head overseas, and work with an organization called 3Seams June 26-July 9. THAT'S SO SOON!  3Seams first started in Haiti, and has expanded to Nepal and Cambodia in the past year. The founder of 3Seams is a U.S. military wife, named Inga, who is stationed with her family in Okinawa, Japan.  She discovered that military families of these countries don't experience the same benefits that our military families do.  She decided to create opportunity herself.    You can see her video from Cambodia here:

Here is a brief description of what 3Seams does:

"3seams is an organization dedicated to two issues. First, we are passionate about JOB CREATION in the developing world:bringing new found HOPE, through employment, to those caught in the grips of poverty. Secondly, we are committed to creating opportunities for people, just like YOU, to purchase top quality products, and truly make a difference through the purchase. Our hope is to also create a platform for families to discuss global issues at home. Whether through our product, through our blog, or through a Stateside event, we are committed to making a difference both in America and in the developing world." (For more information, visit www.3seams.com).

What's even more exciting for me, is I get to join this ministry while doing what I love--photography!  I will be working alongside my dear friend Sara Harper.  She is a talented photographer, and will be shooting video as well.  Not only will we be loving on the people and serving them, we will be documenting their work environments and daily lives.  We will have the chance to sit and interview the people in their homes, and find out how their every day lives have been impacted by the opportunities 3seams have created.  3Seams will use this footage for informational videos, fundraising tools, and raising awareness on global issues.

Our home base will be Bangkok, Thailand.  We will then travel by plane back and forth between Nepal, Cambodia, and Bangkok.  This requires several plane tickets, and involves lots of costs. I will make this happen, but I can't do it without you. I have created several options that allow me to give back to YOU for helping me give to THEM.

Since the moment God placed the inspiration for Dash on my heart, I knew I was responsible for finding ways to use my abilities for good.  I've had the privilege of documenting for ACE Ministries in Jamaica, and I'm thrilled to expand my adventures to the Asian continent.

I am privileged to do what I love for a living, and this is just one opportunity for me to expand my comfort zone and do what I'm called to do--serve.  Through serving, I hope the people we come in contact with will experience the hope and overwhelming love of the greatist Artist of all.

Thank you for your prayers.  Thank you for continuing to love me.  Brandon and I are humbled on a daily basis by the amazing community we are a part of.

xoxo,
-a
