Help Peppa fight Pneumonia

Peppa was found abandoned in a mobile home park in Louisiana and now she is once again fighting to survive.
Our Louisiana rescue partners saved Peppa along with her mom Belle and 3 siblings Elsa, Miley and Boots. These sweet Chihuahua puppies were estimated to be only 4 – 5 weeks old when they were found and brought to safety. Mom and her puppies were cared for, vetted and brought up to date on vaccines and then transported to Wag On Inn Rescue to find their forever homes.
When Peppa arrived in NJ on Sunday, August 11 she was not feeling well and was immediately taken to the animal hospital for evaluation. The vets have taken X-rays which show fluid and swelling in her lungs. She is being treated for pneumonia and lungworm and remains in the hospital where she is receiving oxygen and being fed through a feeding tube. Peppa is a fighter and is starting to show signs of improvement and we are cautiously optimistic that she will continue to recover.
The medical bills for Peppa are growing each day she remains in the hospital and we estimate her care will cost approximately $5,000. If you would like to help Peppa in her care and recovery please donate to her campaign. No amount is too small and we greatly appreciate your donations!
