Amanda and Steve’s IVF

Donation protected
So I was born with only one ovary and one tube. I was also diagnosed with MS when I was 16 and treatment for my MS over the years has also been Chemotheapy. The chemotherapy has also damaged the one tube that I do have.
At 30 when Steven and I thought we would like to have children, after trying for over 6 months, the doctors discovered that I was not able to have children.
We then started the journey of IVF. This was a very hard and expensive time in our life.
When they did the egg retrieval, they only got 7 eggs and only 2 survived and were viable.
We were lucky enough that our first round, I became pregnant with Jackson. An amazing gift that I am so grateful to have, but we would love to be able to give him a little brother or sister before my body goes into early menopause.
Fast forward two years and I feel that I would love to try again with our only other embryo.
The thing is that we have recently purchased our own home and when borrowing during the royal commission, the bank said that we needed to put all our savings into the house that we had set aside for another round. All our money is taken up with loan repayments, daycare, the fees involved with keeping the embryo frozen and everything else day to day and we can’t seem to get the funds together to use the embryo.
I have also started selling Tuppaware on the side to try and get the funds together but others have said that I should start this.
We are not ones to usually ask for help but at the moment, we would really love to have another baby but the cost of IVF is so expensive.
Thanks so much for all your support. Xoxo
