Help Me Provide FREE Medical Care

Donation protected
My whole life, I have longed to become a "country doctor", helping rural folks who work hard every day for the American Dream, yet find they must neglect thier health due to rural locale, lack of access, or monetary constraints.

Over 20 years ago, I was accepted to St. John's University Med School, only to be forced to drop out due to my wife's medical condition (Lupus). I went to work in an unrelated field to support our family, and we had two beautiful, healthy daughters together. My wife always felt "guilty" for being the reason I didn't pursue my dream, but I constantly reassured her that I didn't blame her. She was sick, and as her loving husband, I would do my best to take care of our family.

My wife passed away 12 years later from complications of her Lupus, leaving me and our small children to find a new way forward. Discussing it with my children, they urged me to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a doctor. My age, the amount of time involved, and the expense of medical school, however, were all prohibitive. That's when I discovered the Nurse Practitioner field.

What sets NPs apart from other health care providers is their unique emphasis on the health and well-being of the whole person. With a focus on health promotion, disease prevention, and health education and counseling, NPs guide patients in making smarter health and lifestyle choices, which in turn can lower patients' out-of-pocket costs. This suited me to a tee!

I went to RN school, worked as a Cardiac and Intensive Care RN for 3 years and then went to Family NP school. Along the way I met my wonderful new wife who has helped me raise the children and tirelessly supported me to achieve my goal. I have been practicing as a Primary Care NP for two years now, and have just achieved my "independent NP" status, which allows me to open my own practice in Vermont.

I'm finally ready to start living my dream  of bringing high quality primary care to rural working poor in their homes, and this is where I need your help.

Each donation goes toward providing a comprehensive in-home medical history, complete physical exam, medical evaluation, treatment plan, prescriptions and lab orders to a deserving  rural Vermonter (man, woman or child) who otherwise would have no access to medical care.

Criteria for "deserving" people include the below:
- Earn too much to get Medicaid, but can't afford Obama-Care.
- Elderly on fixed income with no transportation.
- People with abulatory issues.
- Children of working poor.
- People with no insurance.

Care will be provided to qualified patients in rural Vermont as funds become available thanks to your generosity.

100% of your donation goes toward providing this needed care. Please help me bring free quality medical care to the homes of at least 100 Vermont men, women and children who have fallen between the cracks in our broken healthcare system.

Won't you help? Your support will change and possibly save lives.

Thank you.
