On September 28, 2018 I was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma.  This past summer I felt a lump on the right side of my neck that was giving me horrible neck pains.  I was also suffering from chest pains, night sweats and abdominal pain.  I went to my Primary doctor in August and they finally ordered a ultrasound on the lump on my neck.  It came back looking suspicious and then 2 CAT scans later it was determined there was a mass in neck clavicle and sternum areas.

PET Scan was next which determined that it was malignant and biopsy and Bone marrow were obtained to find out the type of cancer.  The diagnosis is Hodgkin Lymphoma-modular sclerosing type-Stage 2 and IPS score is 0.
What does all this mean, it is 98% curable rate with treatment, which involves 4-6 rounds of chemotherapy.  Sounds great....the kicker is I am only 21 years old and the chemotherapy treatment will likely cause the ovaries not to produce eggs causing infertility.  
I am in the process of doing one round of infertility treatments to be able to harvest my eggs before I start chemo.  I will be doing this next month, November.
I am currently employed at Kupper Chevrolet and going to EMT school and living in Mandan with my boyfriend of 3 years, Taylor Boeshans.
