May 20th, 2019 a day our family will never forget. About 2/3 months ago my father Jeff Alvino suffered a heart attack. After a stent was placed my dad felt great! Doctors ran tests saying his heart was doing well and the stent was doing it’s job. Doctor gave him clearance to continue regular activities after a few weeks! There has been so much joy this month with my brother Kyle Alvino coming home from the Air Force Bass in Nevada, both of his grandsons birthdays, and looking forward to both his and his granddaughters birthday on May 25th!
Around 7pm Monday May 20th I received a text that my dad had a nearby attack and had no pulse. When I got there Olmsted Falls square and Olmsted Falls Police were on scene. My mother came out in tears telling me he just collapsed and she administered CPR till EMS arrived.
Dad was was transported to Southwest Hospital. We sat in fear, but hopeful our rock would be revived and would be okay. Doctors came in to tell us he still had no pulse but they are continuing to help him. He fought, and fought till God decided it was time for him to gain his wings.
He he will be missed by so many people and is truly loved by everyone he met. Not a second or a minute will go by without thinking of him!
