Alvin's Cancer Treatment Fund

My name is Alvin Mitchell I’m 59yrs young, and I have stage IV lung cancer. I was diagnosed in May of 2013. I’m under the care of Dr. D’Entrenmont at Penn Medicine Valley Forge Abramson Cancer Center. I’ve worked all my life, but now I’m unable to. I’m on social social security and because of that my income has been cut into a 3rd of what I use to make annually, and my savings has been exhausted due to mortgage, insurance, utilities, food, and a seventeen year old son that loves to eat.

I haven’t laid down or given up. I fight through the pain and deliver pizza 5 nights a week to try to make ends meet. It helps but it’s not hardly enough. I’ve used credit cards to pay my bills but it has caught up with me, that’s why I’m turning to you. I’d appreciate any help that comes my way. I’m not asking for a hand out, just asking for a hand.
