Alma's Place

No one ever thinks it will happen to them. But on Thursday November 8th, my 83yr old mother, Alma Herrera, lost everything --- the home my grandfather built and all her belongings in the Paradise fire.  Unfortunately, the house was not insured due to a wood burning stove that was her only source of heat. Ironically it is the only thing left standing. We feel very fortunate that she got out safely. However, there was no time to gather any belongings. I’m setting up this page to help my mother through this difficult time.  Our hearts go out to all those affected by these fires. I’m asking for any help you can offer. Thank you for your support.
