Ally Shyver's Medical Fund

02/01/2017 Ken brought the dogs down to see Ally!



Our niece, Ally Shyvers fell ill last Thursday evening, January 19th.  Due to her roomates good judgement she was taken to the hospital and immediately admitted.  We feel they saved her life.  My sister and her family got the call Friday morning that Ally was stricken with meningitis and they needed to get to san Luis Obispo ASAP.  No time for packing or preparing just get in the car and go.  They were informed that is was the bacterial form of meningitis, the worst case scenario.  In most cases if not caught within 24 hours it can be life threatening.  People do survive but there can be complications after the initial critical period.  It was a very rocky, emotional 24 hours but my niece pulled through.  She is one strong girl!  She has been taken out of quarantine and ICU but is not out of the woods.  She does have some complications and we are not sure how long she will need to stay in the hospital.  We are asking for all of you to pray for Ally and if you are financially able to make a donation to help with medical bills, loss of income, expense, etc as Debbie and Ken will be staying by Ally's side in San Luis Obispo for quite some time.
