ALL IN Scholarship Fund

This scholarship is led by former football players of Hillside High School who were members of the 2010 State Championship team. A group of Men who are all about Hornet Pride and giving back to the community.
In giving back, we hope to encourage young men who have walked the same hallways, studied in the same classrooms, and worked hard on the same field, just as others have who have come before them. Our desire is to instill in them the same passion that we had to pursue life beyond Hillside, in hopes of a brighter future.
"ALL IN" was the motto that the 2010 Hillside Football team used as motivation to carry us through a perfect 16-0 season.
Not only was the motto "ALL IN" used by the football team on the field, but it was also seen in the classroom, in our homes and all throughout the community. To keep the "ALL IN" approach alive, members of the 2010 4A State Championship team would like to present the ALL IN Scholarship Fund. The State Championship team of 2010 was filled with leaders and players who worked extremely hard to promote excellence and unity within the team and community.
2013 was the first year for the ALL IN scholarship, however the money was raised directly out of pocket. During 2014, our campaign was successful and we raised over $1000 in donations (check it out here). This year, we've risen the bar, but hope to be just as succesful!

~Quianti K. Cherry, Hillside Grad of 2013, the first recipient of the Allin Scholarship Fund, decided to further his education as a Viking at Elizabeth City State University. Go Que!! Deandre Harper, class of 2014, was the second recipient of the Allin Scholarship Fund. Harper is currently attending Winston Salem State University. Congratulations DeAndre!
Both gentlemen are currently playing football for their respective Universities. Continue to make Durham Proud!Only more success to come.
