Allie Burkhardt's Alopecia Sojourn

Two years ago, I was diagnosed with an autoimmune condition called alopecia universalis. This means that all of my hair suddenly fell out, with no explanation. The journey of living with alopecia has been one of personal and spiritual growth, and I love sharing about my experience with others! 

I have received a scholarship, including three nights stay at a hotel in order to attend a conference for people like me who have experienced this condition. I believe that I have a lot to learn from others who've experienced alopecia, and also a lot to share from my own journey. I would love to be able to attend this conference in order to connect with others who have the condition, learn more about it,  and share my journey with them! At this time, I am unable to cover the travel costs due to paying for living expenses and school, so I am raising money in order to cover the travel costs. Alopecia has been a life changing experience for me, and being part of this conference would be very meaningful.
