All that is written...be it BRIGHT

Brighton Scala, husband, brother, son, uncle, and dear friend to so many, was recently diagnosed with a rare and aggressive form of cancer known as lymphoblastic lymphoma. Anyone who knows Brighton will tell you what a selfless, hardworking, generous, and genuinely caring man he is. His adoration for his wife, commitment as a son, dedication to his four sisters, loyalty to his friends, and passion for his work are a testament to his true character. 

This week, Brighty will start his intensive 8-month chemo treatment plan under the care of UCSD specialists and alongside his wife, Devon. UCSD will be their home for his 27th Birthday, Christmas, and New Year’s. It will also be their home for 4 out of every 9 days until August.

Those close to him are so gracious for the outpouring of love and support over these past two weeks. The kind sentiments, positive thoughts and prayers are touching beyond words.
