All Star Parrots rescue and rehoming is a non profit charitable organisation, registered in England and Wales, UK (1176640). It was set up by four directors who are committed and passionate about parrot welfare and rescue over breeding.
Our aim is to enable parrots needing rescue receive the the best, knowledgable and experience care, rehabilitation and rehome service. We take in parrots with a range of needs, we will never turn a parrot away regardless of health, condition, age or behavioural problems. We also give free personal one to one advice and help to owners facing problems.
Our rescue runs through a network of knowledgabe welfare officers and safe house officers across the UK, each home is checked and approved suitable to meet the needs of parrots in captivity. Sick or injured birds are treated by specialist avian vets or vets with zooligical training and avian interest. This vet care is covered by the charity for all birds in afehouse. All Star Parrots receive no funding, all fund are raised through charity fundraising activities.
A massive part of our fundraising plan is public engagement and fundraising during summer months. We attend summer fetes, carnivals, fairs shows infact anywhere that means we can raise awareness and some funds. Donations to our aviary campaign will increase the number of our own and charity parrots we can take to these events, offering an up-close experience for children and adults alike, some of our parrots are happy to wear a harness so the experience can be a one of a kind. With an aviary we can also attend events and fetes that run over a few days, are further away and reach a wider audience.
Ideally we would like to have the aviary ready for the summer shows starting in June this year, so a majority of the funds ideally would be needed for the latest May.
I know this is a big ask, but I know that All Star Parrots and the public will benefit from us attending events and shows across the UK. We would be very happy to return our thanks and appreciation of donations by attending any events where we could raise funds etc. in your areas too!
