All hands together for Babychayans Family

On the morning of July 16th, 2019, Chacko M. Chacko (Babychen), a dear husband, father, and friend in our community, was found unresponsive in his home. He had just been at the hospital one night before, kissing his daughter’s forehead and telling her he’d be back the next day. He passed away suddenly at the age of 59, leaving behind his wife, Elizabeth, daughter, Nimmy, and son, Nidhin. As tragic as Babychen uncle’s passing is, the timing is most ill-fated.

 Nimmy, 23, was just brought into the hospital for an emergency surgery on June 9th, 2019 after falling ill that evening. Complications of the surgery and her sickness caused her to become comatose and put in the ICU for almost one month. But between fervent prayers and the grace of God, Nimmy woke up and began her path to recovery. She has been transferred to a rehabilitation hospital where she is doing therapy to regain her strength in eating, speaking, and walking.

 Besides the mountain of accruing medical bills and upcoming funeral costs to climb, the burden of college tuition is also looming over this beloved family. Nidhin, 17, is set to start his first year of college this fall.

 We are setting up this fundraiser with the hope of helping relieve even some of the burden that lies ahead for this family. We ask for you to help us pay it forward for them in this immense time of need. They never failed to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
