Alfie Garden/Bedroom Makeover

On the weekend of 28th april 2017 Heaven and Earth Landscaping Services alongside many voluntary companies will be completing Alfie with a garden / bedroom makeover! We want to make it sensory for him to enjoy for all he has been through and for his delays too. Each year Heaven and Earth landscaping choose a family and complete their makeovers in the space of ONE weekend. So the family can enjoy time at home as a family without the added stress. It is important we raise the funds to cover costs for all materials provided to make this dream happen for them.
Alfie is a very special warrior and here is why he deserves this makeover, written by his mum Rachel Jones:
Alfie is 6 diagnosed with a high grade brain tumour at just 11weeks old, he has had countless surgery and spent first three years of his life on solid high chemo. After a years break the tumour regressed again and we had just moved from Liverpool to Essex to be nearer family. So we began surgery in Addenbrooks but unfortunately this caused Alfie serious problems within Alfie's brain and left him having surgery nearly every few weeks as he had a blocked shunt. Which they told us they were running out of options fitting one that would last. After 16 ops in less than a year, one listed 18 months. Alfie is now on chemotherapy once a week. He is globally delayed from all this but is the most happy inspiring boy I think you'll ever meet!! I think Alfie would love a sensory garden we have taken him for days out previously and he loves it. It would be amazing for him to have one of his own. We have just moved into our new house and haven't had chance to make Alfie a sensory corner in his bedroom we have a bubble tube but Alfie loves anything sensory especially to have somewhere to relax after a long day at school. I think the make over would really contribute to Alfie's day to day life and I know how much he would appreciate it and is!! Many thanks Rachel x
