Hey Everyone,
For the past 2 and a half years, I’ve had type 1 diabetes. So far, I’ve been dealing with it very well. The only issue is how many times I’m having to take insulin shots everyday. Currently, I’m probably taking 5-6 shots a day. Since I don’t have much body fat, these shots all go in the same spot (my sides) resulting in very painful shots.
Since these shots have started becoming more and more painful, we recently applied to get an insulin pump, which would mean I would have to give myself a shot once every 3-4 days to move the insertion point of the pump.
Unfortunately, my family and I could not afford the pump, which is why I’m reaching out to you all.
This pump would make being a diabetic so much simpler and help me keep my blood sugar levels under even better control. If you can, a donation of any amount would help. Thank you and have a blessed day.
