Team NJ Competitions

I would like to introduce myself. I am Alex Almeyda and I am representing Team New Jersey at two events.

• The USA Wrestling Cadet National Duals Championships in York, Pennsylvania.

• The Cadet Nationals Freestyle individual Championships in Fargo, North Dakota.

USA Wrestling/New Jersey is a volunteer organization serving the amateur wrestling community of New Jersey. They provide programs for young people who participate in wrestling, including coaching, transportation, housing, meal, entry fees and a training camp prior to their trips to the nationals. While USA Wrestling/New Jersey has raised a portion of the cost for the team, each wrestler must pay a significant portion of the expenses himself. I am asking for your help in that effort.

Any contribution you make to assist me in pursuing my dreams will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your generosity and commitment to me as an athlete and the sport of wrestling. It will go a long way in helping me to experience a rewarding educational opportunity and give me a chance to compete in the nation's most challenging and prestigious national wrestling competition at this age group.
