Hi everyone!
We are really grateful you are here to watch our video and help us! Our cat Murphy is super excited about upcoming adventure because a cat… can dream )
We’ve met over 14 years ago and moved together from Siberia to Boston, MA. Although we really like our life here but we can’t help that wanderlust - it’s time to see more and explore. This world is too darn good to miss out on anything! We fell in love with traveling and adventuring - road trips across the country, trips to Hawaiian islands, discovering unknown places and hiking all over US.
But we always dreamed about going to South America. We’ve started learning Spanish and getting ready for our trip around a year ago. We worked hard to save money for this trip, but unfortunately due to current market conditions we lost about $10,000 we had saved. And so we are kindly asking for your help to make our biggest dream come true!
We always wanted to visit Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Argentina, see beautiful nature sights (hi Patagonia!), wildlife and experience different cultures while struggling to speak Spanish :) This world is big and beautiful and we want to be a part of it - exploring jungles, visiting volcanoes, swimming in waterfalls, meeting people of a different backgrounds and ethnicities, eating local foods, stargazing under the desert sky and feeling alive!
Our departure is planned for May - we will be shipping our old Toyota truck to Colombia and traveling by plane with our cat. We will be driving through the following countries: Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina until we reach Ushuaia aka “the end of the world” and then going up to Uruguay and Brazil.
We are asking for your donations to help us cover car shipping cost (~$4000), ours and Murphy’s vaccinations (~$2600), airfare (~$1000), airbnbs (~$7500), groceries, gas, car parts, national park fees, warm clothes and more. In return, we will be sharing our adventure with YOU via Instagram and YouTube, posting tips and discoveries, taking your everywhere we go and connecting with you no matter where in the world you are.
It would mean a world for our 10+ years old dream to come true.
