Hello everyone!
This year is a BIG year for me as I am competing to qualify for the Olympic Games in the sport of Fencing (Rio de Janeiro, Brazil 2016)! I am a strong contender for the games and have just recently won the Gold Medal at the first qualifying competition of the Olympic Season! I have medaled many times before in Senior-level competitions and am one of the highest ranked epee fencers in the country.
I will be travelling to 8 world cups and 4 national tournaments this year and for those of you acquainted with travelling overseas...it is not cheap! On average a world cup costs about $1,500 when including airfare, hotel, and other expenses. In total I will have to spend around $12,000 on travel alone. My other expenses include coaching ($400 a month/ $4000 total for the season), and the national tournaments which will run me about $2,500). Altogether i will have to pay roughly $19,000 this season.
I will be attempting to fund my travels through coaching children and private mentorship but I would sincerely appreciate any donations from those of you who believe in me!
I will make sure to keep every donor updated on my competition results and traning schedule!
