Educational Trip to Australia

Hello Family and Friends!!
I am very excited and honored to have been nominated to join the 2016 International Scholar Laureate Program (ISLP) Delegation on Medicine & Science, being held in Australia and Hong Kong. I am registered to go to Australia , which would be May 15th to 22nd, as it is best suited to my future career goals. I am now in my Junior year at Liberty University for my degree in Psychology, with an emphasis on Crisis and Trauma Counseling.
This is an opportunity to meet and learn with the best and brightest students from around the world who are studying in the fields of Medicine and Science. Activities would include exploring the cutting edge of medical and scientific research at a research center in Melbourne,
discovering the healing secrets of indigenous bush medicine in Australia, as well as experiencing a different culture.
While being able to attend this educational trip would be a dream come true and a huge opportunity both academically and career-wise, it is not free. I will be saving every penny I can find and looking for short term job opportunities so I can go. My promise to anyone who gives me the gift of investing in me is this; when I have graduated from school and am then able, I will re-invest every cent donated to me to another student, so they can have the same or similar opportunity.
The cost for the program that includes the activities, most meals, housing and transportation while in Australia is $3, 395. Ticket prices are around $2,000, for a total of $5, 395. I have chosen the payment plan route for the program....and due to the overwhelming generosity of family/friends and the ability to do some extra work to earn, I am pleased to say that the program has been paid for and the ticket purchased. I am so excited and blessed!!
