In honour of a beautiful man, Alan Hopkin who sadly lost his battle to brain cancer.
Alan was 32 years of age, married to his beautiful partner Celeste of 16 years, he was a proud father to 2 year old Jack and had a baby on the way. You would say he was on top of the world. Alan had built a terrific little concreting business and was a wonderful son and brother.
He was loved by so many throughout the local community whom he met through his local education, work, fishing and dirt bike riding circles. Alan had a big presence and a big heart of gold.
Out of the blue and in the prime of his life, Alan was diagnosed with brain cancer and heartbreakingly was told his time on earth would be cut devastatingly short. Alan battled courageously, but tragically lost his battle in May 2017 at just 33 years of age, some 19 months after his diagnosis.
Celeste has been her husband’s carer and Mum to little Jack (now aged 3), all while carrying their baby Archie (aged 1). She is suddenly without a husband and her two young boys are without their beloved Dad. Beyond the monumental void that Alan’s passing has left, we are hoping to provide some financial assistance to ease the burden of everyday living expenses.
Alan touched a lot of people and those that know him, know what he did for others in their hour of need and we are hoping we can all send a little help to his young family in theirs.
