Alain Derisse - Evangelist - Killed
Donation protected
On December 28th our dear brother in Christ and friend, Alain Derisse, departed this world, due to a tragic accident just one step from his home. He was a dedicated husband, father, teacher and gospel preacher.
Alain leaves behind a wife, Eliane and five children; Alainson (22), Alande (16), Alyssa (15), Alains (13), and Alain (4). As you can see, each of the children is named after their father.
Christians in Haiti have helped with the cost of burial. The funds raised through this campaign will allow Eliane to focus on her children during the trying time. The funds will allow the family to have an income for an entire year. Thank you in advance for your help.
Brother Alain graduated in the first class at the Center of Biblical Training in Cap-Haitien, Haiti. He also attended one year at the International School of Theology in Port-au-Prince. In 2016, he was added to the faculty at IST. Brother Alain loved teaching the courses on the Life of Christ, from the gospels. He planted the church in Christ-Roi and served as the local evangelist for many years. He served the church without pay and supported his family as a carpenter.
Brother Alain will truly be missed, even though we know he is in a far better place and his battle is over. Please remember his family and the congregation in your prayers.
