ALA takes a stand for Freedom Dogs

Tax deductible
Freedom Dogs is a nonprofit organization devoted to serving wounded members of the military who are transitioning to civilian life. Almost once an hour, a veteran or service member dies as a result of suicide–fatalities that exceed the numbers incurred in battle. Freedom Dogs trainers and specialty service dogs provide physical and emotional support to help wounded warriors safely transition back to civilian life.

On behalf of Staff Sergeant Richard Gonzalez and the other service members for whom our Freedom Dogs make a difference each day, we thank you for standing with us to support the Freedom Dogs program. In 2006, Freedom Dogs first pioneered the use of service dogs for Marines wounded by the emotional or physical injuries of war. Since that time, Freedom Dogs has continued to broaden its programs so that more and more wounded men and women could experience the devotion, love and service of a Freedom Dog. Your contribution today helps us move toward our goal of raising $100,000 so that more dogs can be trained and more support offered to our wounded service men and women. Thank you for your support. Please spread the word to your family and friends.
