When tragedy strikes, family stands together. Al Pennylegion and his wife Shawn Boshuck were taken too soon in a tragic act of violence.
Coach Al was a leader in the football community, not only with the Hilltoppers family, but in Calgary and across Canada. He was a mentor to many coaches and players alike who had the opportunity to take the field with Al.
He was a positive reinforcer in each player he encountered at every level.
Pat Labrash, and The Hilltoppers Football Association is reaching out, on behalf of Al and Shawn’s kids; Jordyn, David, Alexis and Adam to raise support for them in the days to come. They will need assistance with memorials, as well as, any other necessity’s that we can not even begin to think about.
All funds raised will be withdrawn by myself, Annette Sarga. I am a manager and board member with Hilltoppers Football and responsible for this Page. Once withdrawn, equal portions will be e-transferred to Jordyn, David, Alexis and Adam, under strict supervision of our President Pat Labrash.
