My son needs surgery

Where to begin..
My oldest son Landon has been a toe walker his whole life. Which means his muscles in the back of his legs are so tight he can’t walk flat on his feet. Imagine only being able to walk on the tips of your toes. This causes him to lose his balance frequently, a month ago he lost a tooth from hitting into a wall. My son can’t run well, he can’t roller skate, he can’t play sports..he can hardly walk down the stairs. He is getting close to hitting those puberty growth spurts and he’s at risk of his tendons snapping. We have been taking him to Shriners Hospital for Children since he was 6 for this. He has had to have casts on both of his legs..he’s had to wear AFOs (leg braces) which has caused bullying issues with his peers. Back in November the surgeon at Shriners said Landons best bet to a normal life is to get a minor surgery that would lengthen his heel cords. Very minor surgery and in most cases the person could go home the same day. The issue here is that his biological father will not consent to this surgery despite the recommendation from Shriners, the surgeon and his pediatrician. Even though his father isn’t a part of his life and hasn’t seen how Landon struggles he refuses to consent. So I need to take him to court so Landon can get this much needed surgery. I am at my wits end and I need help. The money I raise would go to paying for an attorney. I know this case will be a slam dunk for Landon. I have no idea why his biological father wouldn’t consent to something that will greatly improve the quality of landons life. He so badly wants to play sports. I am terrified of what will happen as Landon grows bigger. Anything you can donate to help will be greatly appreciated by us. Thank you.
