Aiutiamo la comunità Cristiana di Nuoro (IT/Eng.)

Cari amici,

Vi chiediamo di sostenere una piccola comunità delle Assemblee di Dio in Italia (ADI) a Nuoro, in Sardegna, che si riunisce da circa 20 anni in un modesto locale in affitto. Negli ultimi anni, essendo aumentati di numero, hanno iniziato a cercare un posto più grande e con strutture migliori. Dopo un'intensa ricerca, la scorsa estate sono apparse diverse opportunità e un locale di 200 mq non intonaccato e rifinito è stato offerto a loro per 120.000 euro. Questo locale è situato in una buona posizione, facile da raggiungere e con un parcheggio sicuro per famiglie con bambini. Ad agosto 2018 avendo ottenuto un mutuo dalla banca hanno deciso di acquistarlo, ma poiché il nuovo edificio non è stato terminato, non hanno ancora potuto trasferirsi.
Lavorando in economia e con l’aiuto di volontari, a setembre sono riusciti a completare il sistema idraulico e attualmente stanno lavorando all'impianto elettrico. C’è però ancora bisogno di un consistente aiuto finanziario per intonacare le pareti, posare i pavimenti e arredare i locali. Come ci si potrebbe aspettare, il lavoro sta procedendo a rilento causa della mancanza di finanziamenti.


A tale scopo, io e mia moglie abbiamo creato questa pagina web a loro beneficio e vi invitiamo ad unirvi a noi in questo progetto e sentirvi parte d’esso.
Crediamo fermamente che si ottengano sempre grandi risultati quando le persone si supportano a vicenda per il bene comune. In realtà anche questa comunità cristiana di Nuoro è da tempo impegnata a sostenere persone in diverse necessità: offrendo ospitalità, gestendo un banco alimentare e svolgendo un lavoro pioneristico-riabilitativo all’interno del carcere della stessa città.
Ciò è particolarmente rilevante in una regione come la Sardegna dove non ci sono molte chiese evangeliche e pochi credenti impegnati nel sociale.
Inoltre se vorreste scegliere la Sardegna come luogo per le vostre vacanze in futuro, avrete sicuramente la possibilità di visitare questa comunità e vedere il lavoro che è stato realizzato anche grazie al vostro contributo.
Quindi, se decidete di far parte di questa visione e desiderate condividerla, sapiate che questo avrà un grande impatto nella vita di molte persone.
Personalmente vogliamo investire in questo progetto e pregare per il miglior risultato.

Dear friends,

We are appealing to you to support a small Assemblies of God in Italy (ADI) community in Nuoro, Sardinia, that are gathering for nearly 20 years in a modest rented place. In the last couple of years, as the congregation has grown in number, they started looking for a larger place with better facilities. After an intensive search some opportunities appeared last summer and an unfinished house block of 200m2 was offered for 120,000 Euros. This block is situated in a good location, easy to reach and with safe parking for families with children. In August they obtained a mortgage from the bank and decided to buy it, but because the new building is not finished yet they haven’t been able to move in. Working economically, on their own, they managed to complete the plumbing system in September and are currently working on the electrics. They still need a great financial help for plastering the walls, laying the floors and furnishing the premises. As one might expect the work is progressing very slowly because of the lack of finances.

For such a purpose, my wife and I have set up this webpage on their behalf and we invite you to join with us in this project and feel a part of it. We strongly believe that there are always great results when people support each other for a common good. Actually this Christian community in Nuoro has for a long time been involved in supporting people in different areas of need: through offering hospitality, running a foodbank and pioneering a well-established prison ministry.

This is particularly important in a region like Sardinia where there are not many evangelical churches and just a few Christian workers involved in social-action.

Furthermore if you choose Sardinia as a place for your holiday in the future, then it might be possible that you could have the chance to visit this community and see the work that has been accomplished also because of your contribution.

So, if you decide to be part of their vision and share it, this is going to have a great impact in people’s lives.
