Airline tickets that mean life for Zaklina

Help purchase airline tickets that mean life!

Our dear friend Zaklina Djordjevic from the town of Ruma, Serbia already underwent medical treatment at the National Institute of Health (NIH) in Bethesda, Maryland.  She suffers from a very rare syndrome which produces and multiplies dozens of cysts and tumors in her body threatening her vital organs.  Zaklina suffers from this syndrome since her birth, and throughout the years of treating it in Serbia, it was determined that the only institution in the world capable of keeping her alive is the NIH, where she has to undergo series of complex medical surgeries every time the quantity or mass of those cysts and tumors increases.

Zaklina’s health is being seriously undermined. The NIH used to be in position to cover all of her expenses until now, and this time around they cannot provide for her airline tickets. Zaklina lives with her spouse Dragan and their income is insufficient to cover the return flight from Belgrade to Washington, DC for two persons – Zaklina and her husband Dragan as her required family support and assistant.

Her health condition has been deteriorating for quite some time and it is absolutely necessary for Zaklina to come to Maryland for a surgical procedure which means life.

We appeal to collect around $2,000 for the two return airline tickets and bring Zaklina in for the surgery which is getting scheduled for a period around January 1, 2019.

Thank you!
