So here it is...
I am running well jogging the Windsor half marathon, anyone that knows me knows that this is a real challenge for me having never run before (well in my adult life)
But I made a decision to do this for two special people in my life, my nana and my father in law Tony and to raise as much money as I can for two charities that mean something to me and my family. Dementia uk and Thames hospice. Both charities deserve so much dementia because people just don’t seem to know enough about this cruel disease. And Thames hospice as when my father in law was taken Ill with an uncruelable brain tumour they did all they could to make life more comfortable for him so he could still see his family and much loved grandchildren in a place that was kinda like home.
So please dig deep and give as much as you can not only to see me red like A beet root at the finish line and probably being propped up by my running side kick Natasha who is literally the best inspiration to me and keeps me focused, but to help these amazing charities continue to help so many people.
much love
Aimee
I am having to do this as a personal fund raiser, as I can not do two charities on the same page, but I am donating every penny to both evenly.
