Aiden's Wheelchair Minivan

Donation protected

This is our son Aiden. He's our hero. When you first meet Aiden, his sweet smile, contagious laugh, and big brown eyes will win your heart in an instant. We have one dream for Aiden and need your help to make it come true.

Aiden is a triplet, baby A, born 13wks premature, only weighing 1.14lbs. Aiden lived in the NICU for 2 1/2 months of his life. Three days before he came home to join his triplet brother Jonathan and sister Hannah, an MRI of his brain confirmed he suffered a Grade 4 Brain Bleed and was diagnosed Spastic Quad Cerebal Palsy.
Aiden suffered through so much so early on in his tiny life I feel guilty complaining of a headache. Aiden suffered with muscle spasms, chronic stomache issues, and feeding issues. At 1yrs old both Aidens eyes became crossed causing severe dizziness and headaches. He was in so much discomfort that he basically cried himself to sleep all day long. When he was 16mnths old Aiden had Biltaleral Strabismus surgery to correct his vision and looks so handsome in his eye glasses.

At 18mnths, on Christmas Eve night, on our way home from my sisters house in NJ, Aiden suffered from a seizure that lasted 45 mins long before the drs could stop it. This set Aidens entire life back. He was diagnosed with Epilepsy along with Spastic Quad Cerebal Palsy. His Epilepsy has permanently effected him physically so much that his is now wheelchair bound. Aiden cannot situp, stand, rollover, talk, or walk. He cannot feed, dress, or even scratch an itch he may be feeling.
Aiden receives Botox/Phenol injections every 6 months at CHOP. Aiden has extensive Physical therapy, Speech, & Occupational therapy everyday. Aiden wears leg braces  and hand splints everyday to keep his extremities in correct alignment 6-8hrs a day.

So here's our dream for Aiden. Aiden is 6yrs old, he's a tall gorgeous young man growing faster than we can keep up with. Aiden's siblings are so fond of him aswell. Big sister Sarah who is an A+ student in high school, his triplet brother Jonathan who was diagnosed Nonverbal Autistic at 22 months old, triplet sister Hannah who always reads to him, and baby sister Ava Grace who is 1 1/2 yrs old. Ava & Aiden are best friends. Ava will play on the floor with Aiden and often share toys with him. It's the sweetest thing to watch. Since Aiden is wheelchair bound that's how gets around at home. When we are going out to a party or even the park we have to leave his wheelchair home because it doesn't fit in our car. We have had to resort to purchasing random strollers in baby department stores which have done more good than harm for Aiden. They have no head, neck, or back support, the seat is too short, and there is never enough foot rest support. Over the course of these past few years having only the resources to go this route Aiden has also developed scoliosis of the spine.

We all know it's not easy surviving in this world. We are a family of 7, with 5 children, 2 with special needs and 1 on her way to college in a year. It's virtually impossible to save for anything let alone a Wheelchair Accessible Minivan. That's our wish for our son, a Wheelchair Accessible Minivan. We know that with this new van Aiden will have the quality of life and the freedom to go where is heart desires safely in his wheelchair.

Aiden is my hero because with everything he has lost, been cheated out of in life, he still has that smile, that laugh, and those big brown eyes that tell me "Mommy everything will be ok"!! Aiden is the light at the end of the darkest tunnel and a soul that humbles my heart.

So we are reaching out to the public to help Aiden!! Aiden needs a Wheelchair Accessible minivan!!!

We are currently making every effort to raise money so we can have the van by the new year 2017. Every penny, nickel, dime counts!!

Please help Team Aiden and donate anything you can spare to help make Aidens quality of life a dream come true and the freedom to go where ever us heart desires safely in his wheelchair accessible minivan.
