AHHA Charity Football Match

Donation protected
AHHA was established in 2003 by a team of Vietnamese-Australian medicos to  support volunteers in providing health care aid to local villages in Vietnam. Today, AHHA volunteers embark on annual field trips  to provide dental treatment, cataract surgery, eye care and health check-ups to local villagers in Vietnam and Cambodia. During the past 15 years AHHA volunteers have provided over 7000 eye surgeries and  nearly 6000 dental surgeries within these communities. This is equivalent to over AUD22m in Australian terms. AHHA’s mission has broadened to support disaster recovery, educational and hygiene programs within these communities.

Staff from several business divisions within Macquarie Bank have fielded a team of footballers who will be challenging the Docceroos (a group of  footballers with the unifying feature in that they are all medical doctors with varying specialties), and other AHHA football enthusiasts, to raise funds for AHHA’s 2018 field trip to Cambodia and Vietnam.

Funds raised will be matched by the Macquarie Group Foundation in accordance with its staff fundraising policy.
