AHFA to help TX Harvey animals

A Heart for Animals is partnering with two animal rescue transports to help save animals that are currently sitting in shelters in the surrounding areas of Houston. This will free up room in the local shelters to take in flood victim animals. If there is no room in the shelters for these flood victim animals, then the animals currently in the shelters will be euthanized for space.
We would like to acknowledge the support and sponsorship of our rescue efforts from our preferred vets in our area; Randall Road Animal Hospital and Wonder Lake Vet, respectively.
We are hoping our first transport will be next weekend, Sept. 9.
Ways you can help! Fostering, monetary donations and donation of items.
Fostering - Being foster home based, we can only take in an animal into rescue if we have an open foster home. If you have ever considered fostering, now is the time! Please visit our website www.aheartforanimals.org and fill out our foster app under the foster tab. A Heart for Animals provides medical care and supplies, you provide the love and the home.
Monetary donations - Our greatest expense is medical care. Any amount is greatly appreciated and needed. Any money collected through Gofundme, will be designated for TX Harvey animals.
Donations of goods - Supplies are needed such as blankets, pet food, collars, leashes, capstar, dewormer, paper towels, bleach, etc. Please contact us to find out about drop off points near you. [phone redacted]. Our goal is to share these items with the animal rescue transport teams we are partnering with so that they can take down to TX on their next transport.
The rescue efforts for the TX Harvey animals will be a marathon and not a sprint. Alone we can only do so much, together we can do so much more!
