Aged Care Music, Mission, and Ministry

SUMMARY -

This funding is for God’s purpose & my heart & mission to continue making a big positive difference in the lives of the elderly at Aged Care Homes through music, connecting, & sharing God’s agape love with them. Particularly the very lonely residents without family visiting!
I need some financial support by June 30 & will be so thankful for any donations made so that I'm able to continue to be a blessing to them the rest of 2019 & hopefully 2020 & beyond God-willing :)


DETAILS -

I've had some setbacks this year. (Unpaid time off for bad flu, melanoma cut out, & DVT, + additional expenses) In recent discussions about whether I will be able to continue lower paying weekday Aged Care gigs in 2020, (& the weekday sporadic casual work elsewhere) a few people encouraged me to reach out for crowdfunding. After prayerfully considering it, I have agreed to reach out for help. My weekend gigs elsewhere are higher paying but it's still not enough weekly income overall to get on top of finances, even with capaust.org helping with budgeting. 

From 2015, I volunteered weekly for almost 2 years at Pres Care Vela Carina helping the chaplain with the elderly, then in early 2017 had my first Aged Care paid music gig there. This went so well & inspired me to seek more bookings there & elsewhere! I receive constant great feedback from residents (& some workers) saying they love my baritone voice, guitar playing, & that the old songs & hymns are so wonderful! (Some of their favorites are Jesus Loves Me, How Great Thou Art & Ring of Fire) At over 65 Aged Care homes in 2 years God has helped me bring them much light, joy & comfort & I would dearly love to continue in 2020 but in need of financial support,  otherwise I will need to find other weekday higher paying & regular (or full-time) work instead.

If you can, please help ASAP, target needed by June 30th.

The target funds raised is to help me get on top of finances after those setbacks above; & to continue the already booked Aged Care gigs July to December; & to ensure that I can confirm & take more bookings for 2020 if I reach the target by June 30. I have almost booked out 2019 with 3 to 5 Aged Care gigs per week.

If I don't reach the $6000 target by June 30, I’ll likely need to cancel any 2020 bookings & look for higher paid weekday work before the end of 2019 for 2020 ongoing. Any donations made would be used to help me financially so I can at least honor the Aged Care gigs already booked the rest 2019.
