My Father Perry suddenly lost his battle with cancer on July 27 2018.
When he was first diagnosed a little over a year ago I was devisated but hopeful because the Virginia commonwealth university was willing to preform an extensive surgery that would give him a NEW liver and rid him of the cancer for almost nothing in return , with multiple Dr's visits to Richmond while completely becoming sober and overcoming addiction. A new liver and a life that will continue.
In early july was the scheduled transplant list date, when he went to the Dr to be cleared for surgery we then learned it had spread to his heart along with a blood clot in his heart. He was then deemed terminally Ill. He was also placed on hospice with less than 6 month to live, little did we know he would die 3 weeks later with no financial or mental preparation. My DAD was a great one and I just want to be able to give him the proper cremation that he deserves, his only wishes were to be cremated and spread on long beach island in NJ where he was born. I'm asking for help to fillful his final wishes.
