African Cultural Center in Madrid
We are the Kituo cha WanafriKa Association, existing since 2005, our main objectives are to spread knowledge about Africa and to promote African culture from an African perspective.
To achieve these goals we've been organizing in cooperation with other African entities, meetings, conferences, courses, exhibits, presentations of books, and African celebrations in different places.
It would be great to have all theese activities centraliced in a space of reference. Spain has a population of more than 2 million Africans and citizens of African descent, but, despite the importance of this numbers there is no permanent African Cultural Center in Madrid.
Setting up an African Cultural Center would be crucial to celebrate our greatness and also to visibilize and empower the African community, create self-confidence and sharing experiences with other communities to erase stereotypes and confront racism.
Please help us set the African Cultural Center in Madrid to teach and display the African legacy.

Somos la asociación Kituo cha WanafriKa, existente desde 2005, nuestros principales objetivos son difundir el conocimiento sobre África y promover la cultura africana desde una perspectiva africano-centrada.
Para lograr estos objetivos hemos estado organizando en cooperación con otras entidades africanas, reuniones, conferencias, cursos, exposiciones, presentaciones de libros y celebraciones africanas en diferentes lugares.
Sería genial tener todas estas actividades centralizadas en un espacio de referencia. España tiene una población de más de 2 millones de africanos y ciudadanos de ascendencia africana, pero a pesar de la importancia de este número no existe un Centro Cultural Africano permanente en Madrid.
La creación de un Centro Cultural Africano es crucial para celebrar nuestros logros y también para visibilizar y empoderar a la comunidad africana, crear confianza y compartir experiencias con otras comunidades para borrar los estereotipos y enfrentar el racismo.
Ayúdanos a establecer el Centro Cultural Africano en Madrid para enseñar y mostrar el legado africano.
