Help Maria through her tragedy

I am David Perez the Transportation Director for Santa Fe Public Schools and I am seeking donations for one of my employees Mrs. Maria Martinez. She is a hard working mother of 5 children. She works for Santa Fe Public Schools as a School Bus Driver and a Dispatcher/Router. She is very dedicated to her family and her job usually working 12 hours per day everyday. She makes it a point to be the first employee in the transportation yard to ensure all drivers have keys and are ready to transport children to and from school for the day. On some days she is the last one to leave ensuring all items are accounted for so the buses are ready to roll again the next day. By accomplishing these duties everyday, day in and day out she has made a difference in so many children's lives, giving them an opportunity to do better in life because she works so hard to ensure they make it to and from school. Recently Maria has encountered life changing events and tragedies that have made her life very difficult.

Last month one of Maria's son's had an intestine explode. He was rushed to the local hospital in Santa Fe and then had to be airlifted to University of New Mexico Hospital in Albuquerque due to the life threatening condition. At first the doctors did not know if her son was going to live, but after weeks of being in intensive care and a coma he is starting the recovery process. He is still in the Hospital recovering and has to be fed through a tube.

Just recently her 3 year old daughter was outside of her apartment complex playing with her big sister when she unexpectedly ran out into the parking area and was struck by a motor vehicle. The motor vehicle tragically killed her daughter instantly.

Due to her increased medical expenses with her son and the time she has had to spend in the hospital, Maria has ran into financially difficult times. She does not have enough money to provide appropriate burial services for her daughter which is a shame because she was one of the sweetest little girls you will ever meet. This fund is set up to help Maria through her tough times and to provide a great service for her daughter.
