AdVenture Makerspace Tech Setup

AdVenture STEM at Herman Intermediate School in San Jose engages our students with relevant, rigorous curriculum so they will be responsible, active global citizens in the digital age. AdVenture has a culture of high expectations where students form safe and strong relationships with teachers, peers, families, and community.
Our Makerspace is up and running! Now that more students are using the space, our short term needs are becoming apparent.
We need one (1) short-throw digital HD projector (and installation), two (2) iPad Minis with durable cases for student use, and a 100" projection screen to enhance our Makerspace lab and make it more accessible for all staff and students.
The addition of this technology will turn the space into a classroom that will enable students to access and share information efficiently. All teachers and students can come in and use the space for student projects without having to bring these neccessary 21st Century classroom items from their own classrooms.
Teachers and students will be creating in the lab throughout the school day in their classes and duing Maker Club, after school during Maker Hour, and on Super Saturdays.
