In January 2016 our beautiful little friend Adelaide Gurr was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (ALL). Adelaide has been in and out of John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle for the last 12 months where she has been receiving intense chemotherapy treatment.
Marnee Walters is Adelaide's 6 year old friend who has watched Adelaide go through the not so nice side affects of treating cancer. For most of this Adelaide has not had any hair from the chemotherapy.
For the last year Marnee has talked about donating her hair to children with cancer. She desperately wants it to be made into a wig to make a little girl smile while wearing it.
Marnee needs her hair to reach the length of 35 centimeters . She will cut it and donate it to Variety the children's charity once we have reached our $5000 goal.
